Maple Bacon Smokies
These are a highlight of March maple days and don’t last long!
Lil Smokies
Bacon
Brown Sugar
Maple syrup
Toothpicks
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Cut strips of bacon into 4 pieces each. Wrap a piece of bacon around each lil smokie and secure with a toothpick. Place in a lightly oiled baking dish. Sprinkle with brown sugar and/or maple sugar. Drizzle with maple syrup. Bake 20-30 mins, until bacon is cooked to desired crispness.
